Over our years of business Synergy RSC Limited have undertaken numerous projects at the Rolls Royce Headquarters site in Derby.
Some of these works included the recent refurbishment of the Moor Lane office blocks.
Derby
The previous single ply roof system had deteriorated, leading to leaks in various office spaces. A new Centaur liquid applied roof system has been put in place, offering a fresh 20-year coating guarantee for the entire roof and parapet walls.
This new roofing solution enabled the office staff to carry on their daily activities without any interruptions.
Other works included the restoration of the C4 building which is one of Derby oldest operational engineering facilities.
During the refurbishment Synergy RSC Limited applied 6000m2 of Giromax roof coat to the current metal roof sheets to provide a high impact treatment to repair the sheets which over the years have become corroded and damaged.
The renovation of the roof also included changing 4930m2 of main roof fixings to ensure the roof sheets are watertight and the removal the outer rooflight sheets, cleaning of the inner roof light sheets to allow us to install new Filon class 3 Supasafe outer rooflight sheets. This will give a reinforced, durable rooflight, which also gives more light transmission into the building.
To finish of the works Synergy lined 500lm of gutters with HD Sharman gutter lining to help protect the existing gutter and prevent water damage. The gutter lining creates a waterproof barrier to prevent water flow damaging the building structure.
