The refurbishment work at the Neovia logistics project in Leicetster involved improvements to two roofs and both a large and smaller canopy area.

The total area of the two canopies was 877m2, and the existing roof sheets were cleaned. A Giromax Edgecoat system was then applied to the ends of the roof sheets to restore and prolong their lifespan.

The first roof, which was the larger of the two, which covered an area of 18,725m2. The old outer roof sheets were removed and replaced with new 32/1000 profile trapezoidal Thomas panel roof sheets. The work on this roof was completed by cleaning the gutters and relining them with a HD sharman plygene liner.

For roof 2, the existing roof sheets covering 9100m2 were jet washed, and a Giromax cut edge treatment was applied to the cut ends of the roof sheets. The gutters were also cleaned and lined with a plygene liner.

Additional work included replacing the fixings on roof 2 and the canopies, which were upgraded to new carbon steel fixings. We also supplied a Keeline topfix man-safe system and replaced the corroded siphonic outlet on the existing gutters.
